If there’s anything harder for a drooling blogger to decide is which is better, Quincy by BoA, or Saturday Night by Son Dam Bi? This is WHY I’ve decided to create a new series dubbed Kpop Battle. Every so often, I’ll create battles between similar artists themes. You will then help me decide by POSTING and voting which one you like most. I didn’t design this battle to be easy in any way. Most of these battles will be ties and you, the viewers will make the tie breaker. I have many friends who are both Son Dam bi/BoA fans and they’d cut off one of their ears than to decide which one they like better. So let the battles begin!

UP first because its oldest: QUINCY by BOA

Up second in order: Saturday Night by Son Dam Bi

Conclusion
Both of these artists can sure do a great impression of disco fever. BoA did spend a good year on Quincy and put power into vocal and her performance, while Son Dam Bi really became this image for an extended period of time, and use more of sultry seduction method to capture audiences. Fan boys simply cannot decide..

Who danced it better, who sung it better? Who’s mv was better?? Who’s more powerful, who’s hotter?

Hmmmm...who am I voting for...Dambi of course!  But its not just because I am a Dambi fan...Boa’s song was quite good but Saturday Night is much more in line with the disco theme...Quincy is more like dance pop with elements of disco while Saturday Night has much heavier Disco elements…

Well of course Dambi was hotter at the time. This was during BoA’s teen days while she was still in her cutesy appeal.

I agree, Dambi’s song and video is much more disco theme oriented. But maybe a bit too much that it looks and sounds outdated. Quincy had the disco theme mixed in with modern elements that it appealed to me more. So, I guess I vote BoA. (I tried to make this as unbiased as possible) smile

durrrr, quincy. sorry, son dam bi, but everything you sang after cry eye was either a travesty or a total snoozefest, and saturday night only reinforced that.

I like Son Dambi’s song, but QUINCY has a true disco sound that’s unique. I also like that it’s less digitalized than Brave Brothers’ works. So my vote goes for QUINCY.
