Love is a mysterious thing but fate is able to bring people together who belong with one another. In this case, a Japanese couple in Osaki, Miyagi Prefecture Japan, were arrested for separate crimes on the same exact day. I guess fate knew they were both soon-to-be criminals. A match made in heaven perhaps?

The two are in suspicion for two different crimes. The husband, Masaya Takahashi, is accused of stealing a portable video game console and the wife, Nobuko, was arrested for a possible embezzlement of her former company’s funds (totaling around 2 million yen).

A senior police officer even stated, “In more than 30 years as a police officer, I have never seen such a thing.”

Fate probably made the couple so in tune with each other that it decided to arrest them on the same day. How nice to see a marriage with such synchronization.
