As ridiculous as it may sounds, I agree with G-Dragon on being thankful towards his antis! The antis are usually the ones who create attention, and therefore bring out more silent fans or even new fans for the artist on the spotlight.
During one of his long interviews, G-Dragon was talking about his album “Heartbreaker” and how he was traumatized by all the hateful comments and accusations of him plagiarizing. However, he expressed something quite shocking:
“If an online news article about me is released, the first comment is always someone bashing me. I’m human too, of course I check (laughs). The antis always see them first and leave hateful comments. I’m actually thankful in a way. If these people really hated me, they just wouldn’t pay any attention to me at all. I think they keep checking my articles because they still expect something of me in the end. Something along the lines of ‘I hate this guy, but I still can’t help being interested’, maybe. Because of people like that I feel like I have to try even harder.”
I think G-Dragon is taking this in the most mature way possible. Most artists either ignore the issue or just fight against it. How many celebs you know actually express their gratitude towards their antis? I think this is pretty interesting and chill of G-Dragon?

I have the same idea with him. Antis maybe the ones who pay much more attention than fans. Btw, I’d rather call them crazy fans than antis.
Person 1: GRR I HATE THIS PERSON
Person 2: Who?
Person 1: Insert name here
Person 2: I’ll have to check them out
Person 2 ends up liking them and spreads the word
