Is SNSD/Girls’ Generation going to rule the world? I say this because their second album, Oh! has made it into Japan’s Oricon charts without them doing promotions in Japan. Sure it was only on the 54th spot for the second week of February but that’s impressive for not even trying to break into the Japanese market.

Japan sure has its share of strange commercials. This one includes Chiaki Kuriyama with three stooge-like foreigners. Commercial makes no sense to me whatsoever.

The Brown Eyed Girls sang You Raise Me Up to help raise the awareness of the disaster in Haiti and they’re English doesn’t sound so bad. Seriously, these girls can sing.

This Japanese commercial for Pocky is so….happy. Everyone is all smiles and jumping around. Hmm. Actually, that’s how I feel on the inside when I eat Pocky. =)
