Looks like Big Bang has ditched 2NE1 and is moving on with promotions for the LG Lollipop 2. A short preview was recently released of the song. Will this song live up to the first one? Or will it be lacking a certain “female touch?” Keep reading for Tuc’s take on things…

Okay, putting aside the totally ridiculous outfits for second, let’s focus on the actual songs. The first Lollipop song that featured 2NE1 was by far one of the best CF songs produced to date. Quirky with a dose of hip hop. It somehow worked out very well.

This time around, the same feel is present, except with a small infusion of trance. Personally, I’m on the edge with this song. TOP getting to sing a chorus once was cool, but a second time? The part that saves the preview for me is G-Dragon’s rap; it’s refreshing and a nice change of pace from the slow and deep “singing” of TOP (no offense to TOP… he’s my favorite member).

Without the whole song, I can’t really judge much, but from what I’ve heard so far, I’m not totally sold yet. See for yourself below:
