Yotsuba&! is a pretty cute series done by Kiyohiko Azuma, the guy who also did the Azumanga Daioh manga. It’s about a little girl named Yotsuba and her life after moving to a new house. I can’t believe I enjoyed this, and it’s almost embarassing, but I loved reading it. This should crack open even the most stone hearted devil witch emo. The characters are more realistic than Azumanga. You won’t find a retard like Osaka or girl genius like Chiyo, but it’s still incredibly interesting just to see their interactions with each other. There’s an entire world within the house Yotsuba lives in and the next door neighbors. Most of the manga just involves her running over and playing with her neighbors or playing with her dad and his friends. It brings back memories of my own childhood and how I wish I could just play around carefree like Yotsuba does.
