Incredibly skilled in the Chinese art of Wushu, Jet Li has wowed audiences from all over the globes with the incredible moves that he pulls off in the films he stars in. Well, it looks like Mr. Li is finally walking out of the spotlight and is looking to donate his time (and money) into helping other people.
Li is a devout buddhist, and after facing the Indian Ocean tsunami back in 2004, Li says he has a new view on life. So far, Li has put out thousands of dollars towards charitable organizations, and he has also started his own organization called “The One Foundation.” Li hopes believes that a little bit goes a long way.
“I want to spread the idea that not only millionaires, celebrities and leaders, but each individual shares the responsibility to help others. We just need to offer help within our abilities. My life ended when I was 40 years old as I have nothing to pursue in this world. I need no more money or fame. The rest of my life I live for the whole world.”
