Ashok Shivnani has lived most of life not knowing the peculiar condition he has inside his body. Known as situs inversus, this condition involves having your major organs in the opposite position they’re suppose to be in.

He only recently found out about this strange condition after he was x-rayed for his kidney tumor. The x-ray revealed the following: his aorta and inferior vena cava (IVC) are reversed, has two livers, a stunted large intestine, no small intestine and, of course, his tumor infected kidney. Sounds problematic right? Well, luckily for Shivnani the condition isn’t life threatening and he only needs to have a surgery to remove the kidney tumor.

It’s kind of funny how he’s been oblivious to this condition, seeing as how he went through 2 hernia operations and various lung disease inspections.
