Today’s song of the day is Rene Liu’s “Separating Vacation” (分开旅行) released in 2003.

Rene teams up with Stanley Huang for this stunning song of heart break. Rene has a very unique voice, and this song really highlights that. The rap parts are in just the right places, and the guitar in the song is very mellowing. This is what Chinese music is about. Hopefully we’ll be seeing some more stuff like this soon. Give it a listen and tell me what you think!
