I really don’t think I’m exaggerating when I say that both T-ara’s new song and concept are infinitely better than their “Bo Peep Bo Peep” song and concept. To be honest, I really have no idea why “Bo Peep” was ever a number one hit in Korea. No idea.
“Bo Peep” was basically just one pitch the entire way through. It was like a song flatlined but still occasionally had random spasms of life. I understood “Gee.” I understand “Oh!” Both of these have pretty solid musical aspects that make them highly appealing. I will never understand, though, why “Bo Peep” was a hit song. To me, that song was probably one of the most uninspired, generic, and musically worthless songs ever produced. I think I’ll stop there before some die-hard fans come to burn down my house.
“I Go Crazy Because of You” is an improvement. A big improvement. The song has a very Britney Spears-esque sort of feeling to it, and it has the concept to match it, too. Heavy beats, seductive vocals, and an attitude to die for. I don’t listen to T-ara that much, because they really don’t leave that much of an impression on me when I listen to them. Previously, the only song I really liked from them was TTL, but I think I will be adding this song to my mini T-ara collection pretty soon.
I think that most people will agree that this song is better, right? Opinions?
