Yajima Biyoshitsu THE MOVIE ~Yume wo Tsukama Nevada~, or Yazima Beauty Salon, is a Japanese comedy movie. It’s trailer has just been released, and already I have decided that it will be one of my favorite movies of the year. To be honest, I have no idea what it is about, so I researched it, but before I get to what it is really about this is what I think. I suspect that it is about 3 “women” who run a salon, and one of them wants to be a pageant winner, but no one likes “her.” The other two don’t know what to do about something although I don’t know what that’s what I get from the preview, but this is what Asianmediawiki says:
“Musical band “Yajima Biyoshitsu” comes to Japan from Nevada, USA to debut their CD. The movie will cover the process the band goes through and also reveal their past. During this time band member Margaret searches for her missing Japanese husband.”
:O I don’t get it.
Yajima Biyoshitsu is an actual band that came about from a Fuji TV variety show, Tonneruzu no Minasan no Okage deshita, and it consists of DJ Ozma, Noritake Kinashi, and Takaaki Ishibashi. Also starring in the film is Meisa Kuroki, Yusuke Yamamoto, and Kaba-chan.
