It seems Ayumi Hamasaki helped Asada Mao win the silver medal at the Vancouver Olympics. She sent an autographed cd to Mao before the games and gave her encouraging words “Thank you for your courage and passion”. Being a fan of Ayumi, Mao took it to heart and it helped her calm down for her performance.
How sweet of Ayumi.
