On February 27th, the 6 members of 2PM and a JYP representative together with 90 fans attended a Fan Union in order to discuss questions relating to ex-leader Park Jaebum. However, 2PM’s answers and attitude towards Jay shocked many fans, causing them to ask “Who are you people?” or “Are you even 2PM?”…

The 6 members revealed that they agreed with Jaebum’s permanent expulsion. Taecyeon said “I think that he is a really good hyung but what Jaebum hyung did was inappropriate so we couldn’t accept him” and Junsu, as predicated hammered a nail and said “Park Jaebum as a member of 2PM is inappropriate”.

2PM members remained mostly silent. They said “As soon as we heard that story (the personal problem) nobody could say a word. If anybody heard this or if you guys found out you would react the same. Because we respect Jaebum hyung, we cannot say what it was that he did”.

The curiosity of the background of Jaebum’s permanent expulsion was not extinguished, but through this conference they learned the fact that all 6 members agreed to Jaebum’s withdrawal and that the friendship that they had with each other already went down the river and that there is no way it’ll come back.

Fans felt betrayed and disappointed by the attitude and manners that the members expressed.

They especially placed Chansung and Taecyeon’s comments on cutting boards. Chansung expressed his pent-up anger by saying “We tried to understand Park Jaebum. We held ourselve back during the boycott. But why do you keep blaming us and not Park Jaebum“. In reference to the videos of Jaebum bbyoing, the boys replied “that’s what we want to ask him. Why he acted that way” causing the fans to get angry.

In Taecyeon’s case, he clearly showed hostility towards Jaebum saying that “You may think that we aren’t defending him at all, but not revealing what Jaebum hyung did is defending him. Rumors disappear” and is receiving focused attacks from fans.
