Ayumi Hamasaski is definitely on a role with recently just releasing “Microphone,” and now she has released “Sexy Little Things” and “Lady Dynamite.” First released was “Sexy Little Things.” I’m going to start off by saying that her shoes look incredibly painful. The title of Peter Ho-Sun Chan’s “The Warlords” alone was evidence enough that this epic Chinese period film was going to be a dudes-only film, but that didn’t stop me. Three reasons: Takeshi Kaneshiro, Jet Li and Andy Lau. As most Hong Kong film fans know, they are something of a trinity. Such is the case in The Warlords as the story revolves around a bromance portrayed by the trinity. A more complicated Three Musketeers comes to mind. More »
