Monkey Majik is going to release a new single on March 17 titled Sakura! Also, Blaise Plant, one of the vocalists, just released a new album. Unfortunately it’s a limited release.

Some test screeners for The Last Airbender movie were released and the reviews were mixed. The movie was praised for the special effects and fighting sequences but the acting and dialogue were not so good. Keep in mind though, that the movie isn’t 100% done when the screeners were released so there’s still time for improvement when the movie comes out in July.
I’m still going to watch it…

We finally get a statement from Nick Simmons about him plagiarizing Bleach. He said he was only doing an homage to artists he liked and that he used “certain fundamental imagery is common to all Manga.” Yeah it is one thing to use designs that are universal in anime (like catgirls, gothic lolli girls, hair-covering-one-eye loner heroes, etc.) but copying the same exact poses and almost using identical character designs is another issue altogether.
