Here’s an interesting concept. If you like boat rides, anime/manga, and cosplay and in live in the United Kingdom, then you’re in luck. There’s a convention called the Cosplay Cruise where you get to sail on the Dixie Queen down the Thames River. Sounds exciting.

There will be karaoke and a dance floor blasting your favorite j-pop and j-rock tunes. Special events and competitions will also take place but are yet to be announced. Also, UK based j-pop band Sputniko will be performing some of their new music.

It seems like a fun new experience. Wish I could go but 1) I don’t live in the UK and 2) I get motion sickness very easily. Not kidding, I am horrible with boat rides, car rides, roller coasters- about anything that involves a lot of movement. I got dizzy just watching my friend play a video game. I have a horrible case of motion sickness.
