Today’s Music Video of the Day will feature the epic trio Epik High with their old school song, Day of Peace, from their High Society album. The music video shows the goofy side of Tablo, Mithra, and Tukutz as they mess around with different genres of music. The lyrics, however, have a meaningful message: let’s put aside our differences and help each other out and let’s not get angry over the little things that don’t matter.

Here’s a bit of the lyrics from the chorus:

When you can’t calm down over something unimportant
When you’re dancing in the club and a girl who can’t dance sticks to you like a fly
Even if it’s awkward and completely frustrating, put up with it for just one day
Go out with the person that likes you even if they’re stupid and foolish, just for today

Look at how you shrink in case someone sees you
Hahaha lets laugh, bury away the hate in our heart
Lets embrace, lets all embrace love, dance to the rage of the peace fad

I recommend finding a subbed version of the MV or looking up the rest of the lyrics. They’re funny but at the same time they have a purpose. The music video itself is just fun to watch. If you ever wanted to see Tablo smash a guitar, well you’re in luck! That’s exactly what I like about Epik High. They have fun beats and videos but at the same time they’re trying to communicate a message to the listeners.
