Epik High’s Tablo is not happy about some recent actions by the popular Korean media site allkpop. Recently, allkpop released a leaked version of the music video for the song “Run.” In addition, they also made the entire album available for illegal streaming.
Upon finding out about the situation, Tablo immediately expressed his distaste for such acts on his Twitter account:
After having been informed of these Tweets, it seems that allkpop had no choice but to take all the content down, but that wasn’t enough to appease Tablo:
Since this event, Tablo has tweeted that, “I’m done being pissed off. Our music is out, fans love it, and now I got a show to do, so celebration! F-u to rats, L-u to real cats!”
Never before have I seen something like this happen, but I think this has definitely set a precedent. You may not think so, but people are always watching you.
The album is not available for sale on MapTheSoul.com (due to site upgrading), but it is available on YesAsia and other places where Korea CDs are sold. It is also available for download on iTunes.
