The latest chapter in the Bleach manga was chapter 395. This latest installment is called “The Burnout Inferno 3.”

SPOILER ALERT!!

When we last left off, Yamamoto Genryusai was preparing to unleash a powerful attack on the arrancar Wonderweiss. Well, it looks like the attack is successful, as Wonderweiss is shattered into pieces. Genryusai now directs his attention back at Aizen, but Aizen still isn’t done using Wonderweiss yet. He reveals that previously when Ryujin Jaaka’s flames were extinguished, they were sealed away in Wonderweiss’s head, which happens to be laying on the ground. Realizing that the head is now a bomb, Genryusai rushes to use his body as a shield against the explosion that would have destroyed a large part of Soul Society.

After this, it looks like Genryusai is out for the count, and Aizen approaches for the final kill. Then, Genryusai, in a final struggle, grabs Aizen’s leg and performs the Way of Destruction #96: One Stroke Cremation. Aizen narrowly escapes, but is apparently extremely injured. Ichigo, finally making his move, puts on his Hollow mask and blocks Aizen’s escape.

FINALLY, we get to the real fight.
