OH MY! this is so awesome! my fave soundtrack from IRIS was Hallelujah by Big Bang! MANN!! i love that song! its so upbeat and stuff! and for some reason the only voice i can tell is TOP’s, GD’s and taeyang! their voice harmonize so well ♥

thank you so much for this!!

This is an unreal prize to win! I love IRIS and the soundtrack is exquisite. Each episode leaves you excited and waiting for more, it’s probably one of the best Korean drama’s out there. There’s a ton of scenes worth mentioning, but it’s tough to pick one. I’m not sure if I want to spoil it for anyone that hasn’t seen it yet.

Firstly, all the cast chosen did an exceptional job in their roles. I didn’t feel anyone was lackluster in their acting at all. Lee Byung Hun really showed me what kind of actor he was in this drama. As the main character of the story, he most definitely did not disappoint anyone. If anything he gained a lot of fans in the process, such as myself. I could go further on into the development of each character, but we already know how terrific they all are.

Second of all, the plot was definitely something different than normal Korean drama’s. If I’m certain about this, then there wasn’t anything like it until now. Also, the pacing is quite a change and the production value. From going around countries in Europe and back to Korea, that was very interesting in itself. They stepped it up with the CGI used, and all the special effects as well. There was never a dull moment while watching it. It screamed out “Beautiful scenery and expensive looking drama!”

Thirdly, the soundtrack isn’t just an average one. It had top notch artists involved. They came out with full guns blazing on this. Each ballad used was endearing, enticing, and charismatic. Just like Baek Ji Young’s “Don’t Forget”, which until today leaves me with goosebumps. The more casual, upbeat songs left you jamming right along with them; for example, Big Bang’s “Hallelujah.” This soundtrack was no kid play, it was put together in a ridiculously successful manner. This is by far without a doubt, the epitome of Korean drama soundtracks.

In conclusion, if there was any Korean drama I would recommend, then this would be my first choice. The entirety of the drama has it all; a unimaginably good soundtrack; an out of this world cast and crew, and one dangerously well written story. That is the distinctiveness of IRIS and it’s well-being to Korean drama’s, it’s one for the record books.

man i loved iris, it was intense!

my fave scene was the candy kiss because SeungHee thought that HyunJun got her a gift when he really just bought himself some underwear XD then he went out to get her a gift and he came back empty handed so she was mad then when he kissed her he passed it over to her and she was so surprised.

Lee Byung Hun and Kim Tae Hee are so HOT together!
