Today’s Music Video of the Day features the underrated yet ever so talented j-pop artist, Emyli. This girl knows how to sing- evidenced by her Don’t Vanish Love MV, which is in the spotlight today. The story of the video is the standard getting over a heartbreak theme though it’s ambiguous on what really happened between the girl and her beau- We don’t know if he cheated on her, broke up with her or if he passed away. But that didn’t really bother me much and the highlight of this video is the actual song itself. I didn’t know Emyli had such nice vocals. I have only listened to her through her collaborations with m-flo but after listening to this song and a few others, I think I became a full-fledged fan. She really is talented. Too bad we don’t hear much of her these days. I read somewhere that she’s attending a university so that might be way she has been on the down-low. I wish her luck on her studies and I hope she releases something soon.
