Who says you can’t be fashionable when you’re homeless? Look at this guy from central China. Xilige is homeless and he’s caught the attention of many Chinese netizens for his good looks and fashion sense. He’s been given nicknames like The Beggar Prince, Brother Sharp, and Handsome Vagabond.

His features have been compared to various Asian celebrities such as having Andy Lau’s nose and mouse, eyes and face shape of Mizushima Hiro, and “moody temperament” of Tony Leung. That’s quite a comparison!

People have compared his style to Dolce & Gabbana’s Autumn/Winter 2010 collection. They even go far as to say that he could model for the fashion line.

However, all of this attention bewildered the poor guy after officials tracked him down to give him shelter. He began to scream and wail as he refused the offer and walked away with “Cat”, the person who first photographed him. It seemed he has a psychological problem and was seen wearing women’s clothes before.

It’s nice that people want to help the guy out but he doesn’t want it or the attention, they should leave him alone. If he’s content with his life, we don’t have a right to take it away. Also, a user named Twisted_Colour from Weird Asia News stated a sad yet true statement:

There’s a good summation of modern society: “We’ll help him ‘cos he’s pretty.”

There’s plenty of homeless people out there in China but people were suddenly able to help Xilige out because he’s “handsome”. He doesn’t even want their help. I’m sure they could use their time and effort on others who would actually appreciate the helping hands.

Anyways, here’s a photo of the Dolce & Gabbana fashion line his style was compared to.

^ I wonder if he can be helped? :(

i do hope the guy can get some help for his psychological problems though :(

^ Yeah, Shallow Hal learnt his lesson, so why can’t we.

i’m quite dissapointed at how shallow society is these days

^ He didn’t seem very interested.

i’ve never heard something like this before.
he has really good sense in fashion.
maybe he’ll get a home someday with his fashionable style.

^ How weird is that, right?

wow a handsome vagabond?

Yeah, it’s crazy.

Haha, yeah. But it’s still shocking how many people get plastic surgery a year or how the more “normal"-looking people in society tend to get passed over in favor of aesthetics.

It’s pretty much always been on the way you look. Not talking about cavemen days though.

^ Yeah. :/
I also think it’s kind of sad that we place such a big emphasis on looks these days, but eh…

He ran away with his “kitty” and was screaming.

Oh wow, I feel sorry for him if he doesn’t want the attention/help. >.<

It’s too bad that he psychological problems. This was an easy way to get stardom.
