North Korea has a population of about 24 million people, most of whom live horrible and impoverished lives. The horror stories that occur rarely reach the outside world due to North Korea’s total isolation from the rest of the world.
Recently, however, a North Korean man was able to call a South Korean friend via a black marketed cell phone to tell him of the atrocious conditions in which people are living. The man, who is only identified as Jung, was tortured into confession and was executed by a firing squad after wards. It is expected that this story will be leaked to the North Korean public as an example for all.
It’s hard to believe that countries like this actually still exist in the world. It really makes me question why nobody has taken more extreme actions against Kim Jong Il. He is certainly a sick and twisted man.

How old is Kim Jong Il and when will he croak? I also hope when he does croak, that North Korea will change, so the whole of the country can be one.
As for this mishap that recently happened, well I feel like the rest of you. Just disgusted that people still have to live like this nowadays. When will these types of problems start changing and for the better? Cause at this point, it really leaves Korea with a bad impression. I understand South Korea has nothing to do with it, but not many look at it that way. Even though, the news channels always state it as North Korea.

Yeah, I was kind of shocked when I read the news earlier. It makes me extremely sad that there are still parts of the world where situations such as these can occur.
What’s even worse is that N. Korea might use this poor man as an “example” to discourage others from breaking its ridiculous law. >_>
