There is an anime for Arakawa Under the Bridge series coming out, but I read some of the manga to get a taste of what it’s like. It’s really weird. While it never made me laugh out loud or anything, I had a stupid grin plastered on my face the whole time I was reading this. The story is really amusing and interesting, and although the main character gave off a rich snob impression, he turned out to be really likable. The characters designs are one of the funniest parts.
While I didn’t get too far in the manga, there is some guy in a kappa suit, a male nun, and someone with a star for his head. There’s others but those are the ones that stand out the most. It’s a fun series, and I’m pretty excited for the anime. The manga gave a good impression but sadly there’s only a few chapters translated in English. If it ever gets licensed, I would definitely buy the manga just for the cover art.
