And the Bleach anime fillers continue. Today’s Bleach episode is the 262nd episode of the series. It was called “The Tragic Sword Fiend! Haineko Cries!” Care to guess who the episode revolved around? Yeah, Haineko.

The story begins with Haineko, Rangiku Matsumoto’s zampakutou, chasing after an injured sword fiend. She finds him, but it immediately enamored by the injured zampakutou. She returns to base and tells Matsumoto that she has killed the fiend, but in reality, she has actually hidden him in an abandoned house.

Throughout the course of the episode, Haineko grows attached to Narunosuke, the sword fiend. However, Narunosuke soon begins to lose control. Matsumoto, suspecting Haineko’s actions, follows her to the abandoned house and witnesses the sword fiend transformation. Haineko, while reluctant at first, ends up slaying her dear friend Narunosuke in the end.
