Today’s Music Video of the Day features Namie Amuro and VERBAL’s collaboration for Song Nation, lovin’ it. This is one of my favorite j-pop songs ever! It’s emotionally powerful. The song was part of a collaboration project called Song Nation which featured top artists like BoA, Koda Kumi, Ayumi Hamasaki and KEIKO to help raise funds for the September 11 attacks in the U.S. The music video is pretty simplistic and didn’t have much of an effect on me. I like the black and white setting of the video though and how it turned into color in the end. The song is amazing and showcases Namie’s vocal skills very well. VERBAL’s rapping is awesome as usual. I recommend giving this song a try!
