The iPhone/iPod has been permanently given some true credentials as a gaming platform; Chaos Rings are in the works, while Final Fantasy XIII themes are popular for iPhone users.
Chaos Rings is a game in development by Square Enix, which will be one of the first major RPG’s available for the iPhone/iPod. From what I can see, the graphics appear quite stunning and compete quite heavily against a true powerhouse: The PSP.

And when I get my iPod, I’ll definitely download this FFXIII theme as well
There you have it. It looks like the iPod/Phone will be a powerful platform for RPG’s.

I definitely agree with you, Hoc. The PSP has a lot of owners, but the iPOd/iPhone owners outnumber psp owners like by a gigantic ratio. With the power of Square Enix’s promotional campaign, let’s just say they could clean house.

I agree with Hoc, it really is smart. The graphics look great and I’m sure it will do well, if it ever comes to the US.
I really need to steal my brother’s iphone. I still have to play all the other Square Enix games on the iphone.
Chaos Rings looks good! The music sounds nice. I hope there will be a soundtrack. I’m also hoping for a port to the PSP. It’ll just be easier to play on.
I like this idea. Really smart.
