2010 is beginning to look more brighter in the Kpop world as power-vocals girl group Secret and rock boy group FT Island have been confirming their comebacks this year.

Following their debut on October 2009 with their first single “I Want You Back,” the Secret girls originally planned for their comeback on February 2010. Unfortunately, the date had to be pushed to April because they wanted to make the mini album more complete.

Secret’s agency TS Entertainment stated, “Because it is their first mini album, the girls put in great amount of effort.”

During their fanmeeting for FT Island JongHun’s and HongKi’s birthdays, more info was released about the rock band’s comebacks:

1) F.T Island will release their new single under Warner Music on May 19. In order to do a bigger promotion to boost Japanese Market, Warner Music needs the boys to stay there for 5 months for more activities like fanmeeting, magazine, interviews, short concert etc.

2) After promoting single, F.T Island will focus on their comeback album in Korea, which should be released in August/September 2010. It’s believed their 6th album will be a hit since it’s a combination of both F&C and Warner Music.

3) Although the boys will be working on their new single and album, they’ll also have their new Japanese show which will be aired starting 7th April.
