Asian Kung Fu Generation’s Rewrite is going to be featured on today’s Music Video of the Day. AKFG is known for doing opening songs for anime such as Bleach and Naruto. Rewrite was one of the openings for Fullmetal Alchemist and ever since I heard it on TV, it has become one of my favorite j-rock songs. Upbeat instrumentals + Masafumi Goto’s calm voice = One awesome song. I really enjoy listening to his voice. There’s some sort of charm to. I think it’s the perfect voice for this kind of music. He doesn’t overdo the singing or “screaming.”
