The first season of MLG Ladders has finished. It was a grueling 5 matches, 10 weeks long event. We saw many close victories and many teary-eyed defeats. One champion stood tall when the dust cleared, Mixr Users. No words can truly do justice to this historic moment. I’ll just get to the breakdowns:

As a decedent in a great line of Samurai warriors, I was not going to lose this match. This game really tested my mouse to sword skills. It was unfortunate for Yuliya and Anabel to be matched with me. I think Anabel had trouble submitting scores. Remember, if that happens, screen shot your score and send it to me!

Thanks to everyone that participated in this season. We hope to do a lot more of these with more Asian pop tie-ins. MLG is really just a few months old and there’s still some testing and bugs to iron out. We expect the events to get bigger with more variety of challenges. Oh and some events will have some prizes attached to it as well. So tell your friends to sign up and join!

Speaking of MLG events with prizes, two are coming up. One is the DBSK Decathlon with tons of EXP points at stake and a big DBSK prize! The other is KPOP Battles which is scheduled to start sometime 3 weeks from now. We’re still trying to decide which KPOP bands should be represented. Let us know which ones you want to see.
