Blazblue is one of the most interesting fighting games I have ever played. It has a complex storyline with very fun characters. The vampiress Rachel Alucard is one of my favorite characters (Her theme song Queen of Rose is my favorite from the series). I also love her familiars, Gii (the bat) and Nago (the cat).

DeityofShadows did a great job with this fanart of Rachel, Gii, and Nago. It perfectly suits her character. When she’s not busy “playing” with other people, she bosses Gii around to make her some tea. I like how the artist sticks with three colors in this piece. Sort of adds a touch of mysteriousness to the setting. DeityofShadows also captures the characters’ facial expressions very well: Rachel- condescending, Gii- in pain, and Nago- laid back.

Since I’m on the subject of Rachel, I might as well share her theme song to you guys. I love how it represents her innocent appearance and then suddenly goes to badass mode.

P.S.- I love her accent in the game.

I’m glad I got some of you interested in the game. It’s really fun. The second installment is coming out this summer! I hope it gets a psp port (I don’t have a ps3 or an xbox 360).


Ah, I’ve seen my brother play this. He wants the upgraded one coming out soon.


^ yeah, im usually more for puzzle games or short quick games, but theres a few fighting games that i like

BlazBlue is awesome! It’s definitely worthy of all the praise and recognition that it’s receiving.

The Art for the game is also very, very good.

I just Wikied this and both the plot and characters sound fascinating. I’m not too big on fighting games, but I definitely want to try this is I have a chance!
