When it comes to personalities, most people can be categorized as being Type A or Type B. Who says we can’t do the same for MLG matches? This weekend, we’ll be pitting people with Type A personalities against those with Type B personalities.

Here’s a breakdown of both personalities according to Wikipedia’s definition of the Type A and Type B Personality:

Type A individuals can be described as impatient, time-conscious, controlling, concerned about their status, highly competitive, ambitious, business-like, aggressive, having difficulty relaxing; and are sometimes disliked by individuals with Type B personalities for the way that they’re always rushing. They are often high-achieving workaholics who multi-task, drive themselves with deadlines, and are unhappy about delays. Because of these characteristics, Type A individuals are often described as “stress junkies.”

Type B individuals, in contrast, are described as patient, relaxed, and easy-going, generally lacking any sense of urgency. Because of these characteristics, Type B individuals are often described as apathetic and disengaged. There is also a Type AB mixed profile for people who cannot be clearly categorized.

Overview: Each team will compete in 9 games using a free-for-all format where there are no game assignments so anyone can play any game they want. To win a game and thus earn a point for your team, an eligible individual must have the highest score in a match game. At least five points are required to win the overall match.

How to Enter: Take the quick test here to determine your personality type, then leave a comment indicating your type.

Games List: Will be posted Thurs 6pm EST.

Team Type A:
JinraIlustrisimo (captain)

Team Type B:
Hoc (captain)

Start Date: Friday, 4/02 12am EST
End Date: Sunday, 4/04 11:59pm EST

Match Winner: Win 5 out of 9 games by having the highest score by the end of the match.



Prizes:

Winning Team: 500 EXP points, a Brandon Routh Superman pin for Team A or a Clark Kent pin for Team B.
Losing Team: 100 EXP Points

Eligibility: In order to receive a winning pin, you must
1. Comment on this thread with your personality type by Friday 4/2 6PM EST
2. Record at least one score during the 3-day match on any of the nine games.
