I recently came across Rain’s new song entitled “Love Song” on YouTube. This song is off of his highly anticipated upcoming album that’s set to hit in a matter of days. Keep reading to find out what I thought about this short preview into the album…

“Love Song” is a typical Rain ballad. Unfortunately, this one, in my opinion, is not really one of his best. For me, the song was a bit boring. The chorus is kind of awkward to me, and there’s really nothing that sets it apart from other typical ballads. Rain’s vocals are nice, but the vocals don’t really go along well with the song. On a scale of 1 to 5, I think I would give it a 2.5.

The song sounds just fine to me.

I started losing interest after the first thirty seconds. I don’t think super slow songs like these suit Rain that much…

And same here, sondambifan...I kept hoping it would go towards an epic climax. The part beginning at 1:03 sounds like a good take off point, but then it just goes back downhill again. xP

the very beginning is a bit slow i agree, but once it picks up i really like it

The song is good but I kept waiting for a climax...it felt like the song kept building up but never went anywhere.

I would give it a 3.


In my opinion, this song’s still ok though it doesn’t suitable for Rain’s vocal. Anyway, I guess it will be a hit in near future.
