Shim Eun-kyung, one of Korea’s brightest up-and-coming actors, plans to move to the U.S. to study in Pittsburgh in September.

Only fifteen years of age, Shim explained why she chose to study in Pittsburgh saying, “I chose a place where there aren’t a lot of Korean people and decided on a high school in Pittsburgh. Studying is a goal, but I also chose this because I’ve also grown tired mentally and physically after having acted since a young age.”

She also added that she would decide after graduating from high school, whether to continue with her education or resume her acting career. I guess we’ll have to wait and see what she’ll choose four years from now……

Was she in any drama’s or movies? I’m not too familiar with her. Also, why does she want to run away from Korean’s?

too bad I don’t live in Pittsburgh so we can’t spazz about the actors/actresses she acted with raspberry
