Jin Akanishi of the Japanese boyband KAT-TUN is set to perform in Los Angeles in June and will stay there until October. The rest of KAT-TUN will be on an Asian tour throughout July and August. Akanishi has been receiving love calls from the U.S., reportedly. After a series of solo concerts, UTB, an American cable channel that focuses on Japanese programs, sent him an offer. He will stay in L.A. for promotional activities and might have more concerts. All concerts will be performed in English since Akanishi has studied in L.A. before. More »

Finally, after lots of anticipation, After School releases their music video for “Bang!” I’m really liking the new outfits although they are really revealing. The girls worked extremely hard to learn the choreography with the drums. It turns out really well. The whole song and video remind me a lot of the movie Drumline. Along with DBSK, it seems that Ningin has a lot of SNSD fans. Since we’re always aiming to please, we’re going to do a special SNSD One-day Mixr League Gaming match this Saturday, 3/27. The concept will be Even Vs. Odd, or rather, anyone born in an odd year versus anyone born in an even year. All contestants will get EXP and SNSD Fan points in addition to SNSD pins for the winners.
