Kim Yu-Na and Rain have both been nominated to be in Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People. Now this isn’t a done deal yet. There are still 200 people, but they need votes to see who will be the top 100. If you have been living under a rock your whole life and don’t know who Rain or Kim Yu-Na are, here’s the low down. Kim Yu-Na (number 2) is the South Korean figure skating Olympic champion for the 2010 Vancouver games winning by a large margin and setting a few records on the way. Rain (number 48) is arguably South Korea’s biggest pop star.
He is like a quadruple threat as he sings, dances, produces, act, models, etc. Rain is also no newbie at the Time 100 as he beat Stephen Colbert a while back causing Colbert to make a music video and an epic dance battle with Rain. Check out the rest of the list and vote here.
In the mean time, check out Stephen Colbert’s video(s):
First, the epic music video “He’s singing in Korean”
Second, the dance battle. Who will win? (starts at about 5:00)
