… for an upcoming movie entitled “The Era of Magic.” The film is about two lovers that are both suffering from AIDS (Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome).

Aaron Kwok, who portrays a primary school teacher, moves to the countryside and soon afterward contracts AIDS. He eventually falls in love with a fellow AIDS patient who is portrayed by Zhang Ziyi’s character.

Director Gu Changwei states that this movie is to both entertain and spread awareness about the debilitating spread of AIDS.
