What a strange twist of fate! A Hong Kong widow lost her footing on the 27th floor of a high rise flat and fell down, right on top of a pedestrian. This reminds me of the blow-up doll incident except this story has a bleak ending.

Lam was obtaining her clothes from a drying rack when she slipped and landed on a 51 year old woman. This saved Lam’s life but unfortunately the lady she landed on wasn’t so lucky. What makes this matter worse is that Lam was just getting over the death of her husband. Now there’s a new person to mourn for (although they didn’t know each other, the woman did unintentionally save Lam’s life).

I hope Lam is doing okay. I’m not sure how I would feel if I accidently killed a person who saved my life. I know it would be a horrible feeling though…
