Okay, so there are probably two possible reactions to the title to this article: “OMG! YES!” or “You’ve got to be f*cking kidding me…” My reaction was the latter. That’s right folks, Kim Hyun Ah of Cube Entertainment girl group 4minute is releasing yet another single.

So far, rumor has it that the song will be produced by E-Tribe and will feature Nassun from Lee Hyori’s “U-Go-Girl.” The single is set to hit on April 16th.

Okay, now for my little bit… WHAT HAPPENED TO 4MINUTE’S COMEBACK? What happened to JIYOON‘S single? Don’t get me wrong, I like 4minute, but sometimes I think that if you put Hyun Ah on stage to “dance” and “rap” and just have the other members standing in the background then most people would consider that “the group.” It’s unfortunate that the other more talented members of the group are getting shafted purely because Hyun Ah is the more “popular” member. Bottom line: Hyun Ah is an overrated artist.

As much as I think she’s a pretty and a great dancer, you can’t deny the fact that she gets really outa breath during live stages for Change ^^;

I mean, totally ignore the fact that she can’t sing for beans on a music show for a live performance...but it’s all about popularity and hot dancing, right? right? the word song has nothing to do with singing. duh!


in all seriousness, I have to agree with you, soleiro. hot issue was just so cheap, so they turned it up a notch for muzik. and speaking as a jiyoon fan, I was ecstatic that they were going to actually use her vocalling, and use her glasses-off thing as the climax of the song. but then cube promises a single, but obviously gives hyunah’s first. unless you’re totally blind, you saw the sheer amount of money they poured into those promotions. the sheer number of backup dancers. the number of weeks she promoted. putting her on variety shows to promote “change” more. the professionally made music video. heck, when jiyoon was featured in the woo yi kyung single, they couldn’t even get the real mccoy in the video—it had to be some jiyoon stand-in! how sad is that!

and now we have to deal with the fact that cube thinks we all forgot, and this announcement never actually happened?!?!

i am actually really happy about this^.^
I really love her so much but I also believe 4minute will get their comeback and jiyoon will get her solo single there just hasn’t been any news about it but i still believe it will happen soon^.^
