Have any old manga or books that you don’t want anymore? Instead of throwing them out or giving them away, why not put them to good use and start your own manga farm (no, manga won’t magically grow if you plant them- not that kind of farm)? That’s exactly what artist Koshi Kawachi did and the results look neat!

I think this is an interesting and environment friendly way to recycle used manga. It’s also aesthetically pleasing to look at. I would try it myself but I’ve had horrible luck with plants in the past so I might end up wasting rather than recyling the manga.

Also, Kawachi was growing radish sprouts in the manga. I wonder what other plants you could grow in this manner?
