Recently, former Yankee Hideki Matsui returned to New York, but this time wearing an Angel’s uniform to play against his old-team, the New York Yankees. Kim Jones of the YES Network reported that a player of the Yankees, Derek Jeter, pulled one last prank during the presentation, putting a tin ring inside Matsui’s box before giving the real thing during a later player introduction. Matsui took the joke well and was clearly laughing when Jeter gave himself up. These guys bonded together like as if they were brothers! At the end of the day, the Angels lost to the Yankees 5-7; Matsui went for 0 for 5. Ouch!
