We know how Kpop artists have their own special fan club names like Cassiopeia (DBSK), V.I.Ps (Big Bang), Shawol (SHINee), S♥NEs (SNSD), etc. It’s like a little pride of being a fan girl/boy! So guess what CNBLUE’s official fan club name is?

Here’s a letter from CNBLUE’s entertainment, FNC Music:

Hello.
This is FNC MUSIC Fanclub Representative.

Finally! The anticipated CNBLUE fan name is announced.

After 2 rounds of voting, a total of 6 (name) candidates were chosen.
FNC MUSIC STAFF and CNBLUE members’ comments were confirmed.
More than half of the members and FNC MUSIC STAFF people agreed to this option.

Many of you were waiting for the fanclub name to be revealed.

CNBLUE fan club name is now determined to be BOICE
(it is) a compound word of CNBLUE’s BLUE and VOICE combinated.

CNBLUE = Music / Fan = Voice
CNBLUE music is good because it can’t be seperated with Fan (Voice)
CNBLUE’s BOICE/VOICE will always be an essential presence to CNBLUE’s music.
It’s destinied.

(It is) wroten as Boice and pronounced as 보이스/voice/boys.

In the future, CNBLUE cool music will be as ‘BOICE’ (?)
Manners, and please pray order to show the appearance.

We will appreciate it!

The first thing that popped up in my mind was that Koreans pronounce the ‘V’ as a ‘B’ so technically it’s really announced ‘Voice’ over there…which is not too bad. But I saw a comment saying the name sounds like ‘Boys’ so that was pretty hilarious. All us fan girls could be ‘Boys’!

why they’ve had to pick ‘boice’=boys if most of fans are girls? lol
it’s very unique though..
