Tatami Galaxy moves fast. The narration was just near impossible to follow and kept all my concentration to follow the first episode. It also made whatever they said seem less important. It was an interesting show though.

It starts off with a college student meeting a matchmaking god. He’s unable to socialize with people in his tennis club except for another person in the club. Together they destroy the romances of other people. It was great watching how they did this. I also loved the simple and cartoony art style. I felt that the turbo narration was distracting, but it made an interesting contrast. I tried to pay attention while they spoke quickly, but it was useless and I just lost track. This made the short/slow lines stick out even more though.

I wouldn’t recommend watching this when you’re tired or before you’re about to go to bed. The story will probably become too difficult to follow and end up pissing you off instead. It’s definitely something worth trying out though.
