Close your eyes and imagine Charice’s Pyramid single in your head. Now imagine it in Japanese. How does that sound to you? The Inquirer, a Philippine news publication is reporting that she’ll be heading to Japan this Monday. Apparently, record execs are confident that she can conquer the Japanese pop market.

I’m all for Charice world domination, but for some reason this news is coming out of left field for me. Especially since her album hasn’t released just yet. (May 11!!) At the same time, The Inquirer isn’t the most reliable news source. What do you guys make of this news?
