Chinese and Taiwanese fans alike are all excited for the release of Jay Chou’s tenth studio album, The Era, which is set to hit on May 14th. Jay turns himself into a vampire from the medieval ages and hopes that music will live on forever like vampires.

So far, two of his songs have been revealed. “Superman Can’t Fly” made a radio debut recently, and a second track entitled “Fireworks Cool Easy” has been made available on YouTube. A teaser of the “Superman Can’t Fly” music video has also aired. From what I’ve heard so far, it looks like Jay Chou is returning back to some of his earlier works, incorporating some more old school sounding elements into his songs.
