Cube Entertainment girl group 4minute is making its way over to the land of the rising sun. Earlier this month, Cube announced that the girls would attempt to break into the Japanese market. Well, a teaser of their remade version of “MUZIK” has just been released in Japan.

In addition to re-recording the vocals, the music video itself was also redone. Listening to this short clip, I have thus far surmised that the Japanese skills of 4minute are pretty bad. In my opinion, Cube is moving the group way too fast. 4minute is a relatively new group that hasn’t even settled in to Korea yet. Attempting to break into another music industry is a rash decision.

Did the beat seem faster and a little off to anybody else?


For some reasons, I really think that the Korean version is waaay better


^ well that was the trend a while ago, i’m glad the autotune is dying down a bit though


This song should stick to korean XD So much auto tuning ^^;

I like both korean & japanese version but I think a japanese version of “What A Girl Wants” and “Anjullae” would be better instead of this song.


I think there’s something wrong with me cause i find this version just as nice as the korean one~ i hope they can do well in Japan!! Good Luck!

they shouldn’t have done a rap or techno-ish thing to japanese when they’re new to it…
cos all the “stopping"(pauses) thing after every syllable makes it sound funky.. raspberry
they should do something a bit more slow,, and ballad-like…

then again, so is hyunah in general. and please, let jiyoon grow out that awful bowlcut. girls should not have bowlcuts, EVER.
