Residential DBSK fan here! We’ve already heard that Junsu’s new single would feature two songs: Intoxication and Kanashimi no Yukue (Sadness’s Whereabouts). Well, I recently just found out that Junsu is going to be getting yet another solo song! If you can’t guess from the title of this article, he’s going to be singing the theme song for the Japanese drama that fellow DBSK member Yoochun is going to make his acting debut in, Beautiful Love. The song, therefore, is appropriately titled “Beautiful Love~kimi ga ireba~.”
Regarding the song, Junsu said in a recent BARKS interview that he wanted “to meet the expectations of the producer who kindly told he wanted me to sing it. The song’s lyrics was written to fit the contents of the drama and I tried to sing it in my own way” in response to the interviewer’s request to “please tell us your thought that you put into the song.”
A short version of this song will be included on Junsu’s single CD (but for some reason, not on the CD+DVD version as of now). It actually turns out that all three of his solo songs are to be used in dramas. Talk about getting the best of both worlds! It’s also great to see that he’s supporting Yoochun’s drama—both Intoxication and “Beautiful Love~kimi ga ireba~” will be included in his drama, while Kanashimi no Yukue will be the theme song for drama ”Love Letter, after 5 years.”
I can never get enough of Junsu’s voice, and I hope to see previews and teasers popping up soon!
Despite the fact that DBSK has halted all group activities, I think this is still cause for celebration. We need to make the best of what we have, and I couldn’t ask for anything more from Junsu (except for more songs that I can drool ov—er, nevermind.)
What about you guys…are you excited for another Junsu song too?
