Many workers at a brick/tile factory in Zhejiang province of China have no choice but to tie their children to the walls of the factory to keep them out of harm’s way.
Too busy to look after them and too poor to afford childcare, these parents leave their children tied to their workplace for about 10 hours a day. I understand the concern of the parents and why they wouldn’t want their child to roam around the factory but this is just sad. The workplace is dirty and it looks like the children don’t even have toys to play with. But what can the parents do?
If you were a poor factory worker who can’t afford a baby sitter and is too busy to look after your child, what would you do?
