In Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, a man was arrested for abusing his wife after she took too long in preparing a meal.

One day after the husband came home from drinking with his friends, he asked his wife to prepare him some instant noodles. I guess the husband took the phrase “instant noodles” too literally and became impatient. He threw hot water from the pan on to his wife. The wife ran out of the home and hid in some bushes, only to be found by her husband.

He proceeded to punch and stomp on her after dragging her by the hair. He then threatened to kill her with an axe but fortunately, he didn’t go through with it. Instead he used it cut off her clothes until she was in her birthday suit.

After the husband fell asleep for the day, the wife ran away and sought help from her brother who lived nearby. That’s when she filed for a police report against her husband.

Obviously the husband was intoxicated from his drinking session with his friends. I mean, what sane person would beat up a loved one over a bowl of noodles? That’s just ridiculous…… Then again, we do live in crazy world.
