Tokyopop, the popular North American manga publisher, is going to be touring the United States this summer as part of a new reality television series called America’s Greatest Otaku. The series, as the title implies, is going to be a search for the country’s biggest anime/manga fan.

Tokyopop CEO Stu Levy, Associate Producer Daisuke Kinouchi and six interns will be searching high and low at conventions, book stores and other hangouts to find their number one Otaku in America. To find out more about the Tokyopop Summer 2010 tour, your can visit their website via this link.

I’m really interested as to what this show is going to be all about. I can only imagine what America’s greatest Otaku is like… No word yet on when it’s airing.
